A Distorted View

The windshield offers

A distorted view

Making it a pane

To see the world

As it really might be

Just in front of me

Invisible protection

About two feet away

One quarter inch thick

With a slight UV tint

Curved at the edges

Doesn’t obscure

What I see

Merely warps

What is coming at me

From zero to sixty

Yet, in a way it is like

A glass bellybutton *

For when I have my

Head so far up up my arse

It is the only way

I can see what

Everyone else is doing

* “Jackie The Jokeman”

Where this should have stopped.

(Before the glass bellybutton would have been good too.)

A couple of interesting things, one is that the glass (windshield) is made from sand, soda ash and limestone, none of which are clear. Only when heated together and formed to fit.

The more fascinating aspect of the windshield is, at least for someone who has a tiny understanding of how molecules work. (Pun intended.)

Once the windshield is formed and “solid”, the molecules making up the glass are still zipping around. Coalescing into what the collective subjectives agree to as a clear manifestation curved and tinted “solid” membrane to keep the rain and wind out.

While agreeing to be a temporary collecting place for suicidal bugs. Till the rain or a wet squeegee releases them to their final resting place on the pavement.

Breaking The Laws

Starting with the use of lazy language of using the word law. Used all too often, inappropriately to describe forces not humanly understood.

For one, law, sounds as if it man-made, so immediately it has flaws. Plus, once in / on the books, it is too difficult to change.

Starting with the heavy, The Law of Gravity.

It is not a law, it is a phenomena. Where an invisible consistent force draws into the center of itself. WITHOUT EXPLANATION.

Same goes for nature, there are no laws. There is phenomenon and patterns. Minds have a tendency to become closed when they hear the word law. Wonder in this case would be much more appropriate. The Wonder of Nature.

It frees the mind to cogitate or daydream over miraculous manifestations that occur, again without explanation. Like the acids in one’s stomach can dissolve metals while not destroying your innards. That’s wonderful.

When you find phenomenon and wonder categorized as a “LAW”, break it, question it. Then maybe, after a new paradigm shift occurs and society is filled with questioning and awe……

We can break down the man made laws, into what they are. Restrictions, suppressions, revenue enhancers, nuisances, conformity and control.

“What business is it of yours what I do, read, buy, see, or take into my body as long as I do not harm another human being on this planet?”

– Bill Hicks

“So I might as well begin to put
Some action in my life

Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law

So much for the golden future,
I can’t even start
I’ve had every promise broken,
There’s anger in my heart
You don’t know what it’s like,
You don’t have a clue
If you did, you’d find yourselves
Doing the same thing too

Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law”

Violent Voting Verbiage

All hail the American night!

What was that?

I don’t know

Sounds like guns thunder

– Jim Morrison

Is it any wonder the malignant media can use the veiled threat of violence in voting by condemning it, while using it in their rhetoric?

Media: Here we go out to our reporters, with their boots on the ground. In key battleground states, where the Blue or Red, is fighting for a victory. Knowing the casualty for all this, could be the loss of democracy.

As blah blah blah prepares to go up against the incumbent, who has fortified his position, with a deep war chest of negative campaign ads. Attacking their opponents, who shows no sign of retreating.

All the while, in the background with audio of trumpets, and striking sounds matching bright viuals like an explosion went off.

“Ever wonder why we’re #ucked up as a species?”

– Bill Hicks

Disintegration

Ever had the sensational feeling
That everything behind you and
Just out of your peripheral view
Is disintegrating behind you into
A colorful cloud of atomic dust
Opaque yet oddly translucent
Illuminated by an invisible sun
But when you turn around is all
Back in place like nothing happened

No, me neither.

Just kidding,

When it doesn’t occur organically
It is an interesting intentional
Contemplation to conjure up
Knowing it is what we do anyway
Without the disintegration part

By reframing what we experience
Into rational realizations such as
Everything happens for a reason

No. It does not

There is no reason for anything
Save what we justify to make
Sense of this senseless world

Like time and karma
Are a collective creation of
Our crazy consciousness

Hint hint, nothing exists
All leading back to that
Un-provable solipsism thingy

Perceiving recollections to be
As favorable or fearsome as
We choose to remember them

Why not, nothing is solid as the
Tactile sensation that makes it so
When it is not disintegrating behind you

The Dahmer Dilemma

On the morose morality of

Cannibalism vs Carnivorism

When it comes to eating flesh

Chicken, pigs and cows ok

Bipedal earthlings…not ok

Seems slightly selfish, since we

Get to make the restaurant rules

Not looking to be the first

Man on the menu, however

It is a tad arrogant to decide

What is the next day’s delicacy

Under the guise of our “superior” ethics

“Another one of our amusing acitivities – cannibalism. Imagine that – chowing down on another human being. You have got to be all out of beef jerky. You have got to be really fucking hungry. But it happens, doesn’t it. Still happens to this day. Bunch of people, stranded in the wilderness, run out of Pop Tarts, got to eat something. Might as well be Steve.

And how do you decide who to eat first? How do you decide who’s first on the barbeque rack? Do you pick on the little guy, because he’s skinny and he can’t fight back or do you all gang up on the body-builder because he’s got a lot of steaks and chops on him? These are things human beings have to consider.”

Ever wonder why we

Are so bloodthirsty

Killing is our second nature

Any excuse will do

Hunger, punishment, revenge

Convenience and “sport”

“Look at what we kill. Mosquitoes and flies, because they’re pests! Lions and tigers, because it’s fun!

Chickens and pigs, because we’re hungry. Pheasants and quail, because it’s fun, and we’re hungry.

And people! We kill people, because they’re pests… and it’s fun!”

– George Carlin

So much for religion’s motto

Thou shalt not kill…….

Ooopsie

Which only seems to want to save the unborn, because it is convenient, likewise removing them is convenient. Seems to be a battle between conveniences. How convenient. Such a lazy, yet deadly species.

Like a collective Jeffrey, we know better, we just cannot seem to stop.

Should “we*” consider

*(me and the mouse in my pocket)

Why extraterrestrial intelligent life

Never makes its presence known

Methinks it might be when they

Stop by to visit the apartment 3S

3S (third rock from the sun) in the

Cosmological apartment complex

Better known as the Milky Way

The deathly decaying stench

Emanating behind the ozone door

Is waaaay too much to handle

Plus there is no Galactical authority

To report the murderous crimes to

Of the allegedly intelligent life here

Besides, the invisible authority

We did make up is contradictory

Unless drowning is excluded

As to that whole “Thou shalt not kill” theory

Guess it depends on what hat you are wearing

“You ever notice that? Any time you see two groups of people who really hate each other, chances are good they’re wearing different kind of hats. Keep an eye on that, it might be important.”

– George Carlin

“Because it’s murder by numbers, 1, 2, 3,
It’s as easy to learn as your ABC.
Murder by numbers, 1, 2, 3,
It’s as easy to learn as your A, B, C, D, E,……….”

One Of Those Words

Comes along every once in a while, where you want to use it any context just to hear it and relish it. Like Schadenfreude, not only is / was the definition mischievous, *(: enjoyment obtained from the troubles of others.) It sounded fun, especially when trying to repeat with a Germanic accent.

Here is my new favorite word.

Solipsism:

A theory holding that the self can know nothing but its own modification and that the self is the only existent thing.

*M-W.com

Cool, right? I don’t dare use it at work, a small group of coworkers, looked at me like I had four heads, when I used the word cognizant, instead of very aware. I’ll try it here.

Robin: Holy solipsism Batman!

Batman: What is it Robin?

Robin: I just read in the Gotham City Gazette, that a person who sells teapots and has a fifteen subscriber podcast, considers themselves, to be a social influencer. Could it be the Riddler with a riddle?

Batman: No, that is just a person with an inflated ego who wants to feel extra important, when they do not recognize their own intrinsic self worth for just being a miraculous bipedal earthling artist.

(Actually, did read that on FB, where a person in that circumstance, presented themselves as a social influencer.)

Even Jeffrey Dahmer who was world infamous, did not influence people to eat other people.

Perhaps the teapot Podcaster is a social influencer, I don’t know. Or perhaps I am just jealous, that I have all the social influence of farting in an empty elevator. Nobody is influenced, but me.

“Farting on the elevator is an interesting experience. Uh, if there are only two people on there, everybody knows…who farted.”

– George Carlin

Recently heard in an audio book that solipsism can not be disproven. Well, isn’t that just dandy.

How interesting, a word that was made up to describe something, approved by lexicographers, placed in a book with a definition and isn’t even known to provably exist.

Solipsism:

1871, coined from Latin solus “alone” (see sole (adj.)) + ipse “self.” The view or theory that self is the only object of real knowledge or the only thing that is real.

“The identification of one’s self with the Absolute is not generally intended, but the denial of there being really anybody else” [Century Dictionary].

– etymologyonline.com

That does turn a subjective perspective on its head, now doesn’t it. On one hand solipsism could make one very aware of their infinite responsibility of their own happiness.

Or do whatever they wanted to in a Godlike free for all, knowing at any moment they could change it.

Provable or not, solipsism is one word you could chase down the rabbit hole wondering if there was ever a hole or a rabbit word to chase after.

“Just an observation,
Maybe I need
Different glasses.”

Or do I?

Here is a recent haiku previously posted for me to better understand the word solipsism.

“An Ego Haiku”

Solipsism swims

Deep in the abysmal pool

Of Narcissism

Happy One Day Clothing Day

Gone are the myths and mystery

Of All Hallows Eve

Replaced with meaningless

Plastic garments and

Nauseating decor as a

Cornucopia of consumption

For no actual recognition

Of the dead spirits with

Opportunities to say goodbye

“Halloween’s origins trace back to the Celtic celebration of Samhain (pronounced “sou-when”) when the veil between the living and the dead was thought to be thinnest and souls passed between realms.

//

At Halloween, the souls of the dead are thought to walk among the living, the living put on costumes and become other people or things, treats are passed between people, fires are lighted and food is shared — all aspects of transformation.”

– worldhistory.org

Nope!!

Small malls temporarily set up to sell one day, maybe two day clothing. Not toward a ritual with any spiritual substance. Just the blackening of a businesses bottom line of arrogant disposable clothing.

Usually to send adolescents out on the cusp of darkness to stranger’s homes to seek sugary sweets that on any other day would be advised to stay away.

Which seems only to be a rudimentary step towards getting the young-uns to sit on a stranger’s lap. The living dead amongst us now, are what are better known as parents.

“Do you know the warm progress
Under the stars?

Do you know we exist?

Have you forgotten the keys
To the kingdom

Have you been borne yet
& are you alive?

Let’s reinvent the gods, all the myths
Of the ages

Celebrate symbols from deep elder forests”

“An American Prayer” (yeah, sure)

Erasure

Erase all the things

That you do not know

To be absolutely true

Erase all the things

That you do not know

To be absolutely false

Erase all the things

That you do not

Believe to be true

Erase all the things

That you do not

Believe to be false

Now that your brain

Is empty and your

Mind mindful

It is time to write

Your self as your own creation

Not society’s indoctrination

Start now instead of

Waiting for reincarnation

(Where this should have stopped)

Going another go around

With unconscious parents

Likewise society at large

Who willy-nilly opened the door

To uninvited intruders into

This diabolical dense dimension

Unwittingly passing down

Stockholm syndrome as its

Disease of distraction

Which starts immediately

With symptoms of consumption

Followed by faux faiths

Held in homogenized homes

That absolutely screams

Towards no individuality

Just replaceable cogs

In the malignant machine

Of birth consume death

Expediting eternal entropy

Where its only cure is

Erasure

“Signs Signs

//

Do this
Don’t do that
Can’t you read the signs”

– Five Man Electric Band

Excepts from Rush’s “2112”

We’ve taken care of everything
The words you read, the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
It’s one for all and all for one
We work together, common sons
Never need to wonder how or why

//

I wandered home through the silent streets
And fell into a fitful sleep
Escape to realms beyond the night
Dream can’t you show me the light?

I stand atop a spiral stair
An oracle confronts me there
He leads me on light years away
Through astral nights, galactic days
I see the works of gifted hands
That grace this strange and wondrous land
I see the hand of man arise
With hungry mind and open eyes

They left the planet long ago
The elder race still learn and grow
Their power grows with purpose strong
To claim the home where they belong

Home to tear the Temples down…
Home to change!”

//

(Otherwise)

“The sleep is still in my eyes
The dream is still in my head
I heave a sigh and sadly smile
And lie a while in bed
I wish that it might come to pass
Not fade like all my dreams…

Just think of what my life might be
In a world like I have seen!
I don’t think I can carry on
Carry on this cold and empty life

My spirits are low in the depths of despair
My lifeblood…
…Spills over…

[VII. The Grand Finale]

Attention all Planets of the Solar Federation
Attention all Planets of the Solar Federation
Attention all Planets of the Solar Federation

We have assumed control
We have assumed control
We have assumed control”

No Thanks

Necessary

Certainly not a blind blank

Blanket banal bump of

Farcical fawning

Antithetical appreciation

Grandiose gratitude

Laid out permanently

As random as insincerity

On the off off chance

The alleged recipient will

Get a warm fuzzy feeling

Of faux cranial compensation

Which is about the time

You realize the thanker

Really is the thankee

At least by who and what

Actually benefits for the

Thankless thanking

This all started with

A fueling franchise

That wants to thank

ALL Profesional Drivers

In all its advertising

That is a tad narrowcasting

Apprentice drivers buy fuel too

So do unprofessional drivers

Besides, what if driving is

Their profession but….

They are not very good or…

Discourteous and rude

That is not very professional

Now is it, is it? No it is not.

Still, based on definition

They are professional drivers

Upon further examination

The thanker is the beneficiary

Of the generalized gratitude

Since probably no one considers

Themselves an unprofessional driver

Giving that corporation

A slightly slight edge

Over the corporation

Thanking no one

Mi$$ing out on million$

For being so un-thankful

This incipient insincerity

Is increasing incrementally

By the banal bourgeois

For pseudo satisfaction

That some needs are being met

Through lazy laudations

Of ingratiating gratitude

Thank you for shopping at x, and scanning and bagging your own groceries thoroughly, propping up the bottom line by having fewer human redundancies, blah blah blah.

No thanks necessary. Have a nice day.
