Beingness

It’s funny what we laugh at.

It’s gross what we eat.

It’s crazy what we believe

It’s horrendous how we treat people

It’s unfathomable we’re alive

It’s an optical illusion that we can see.

It’s wild we have an imagination

It’s crass what we consume

It’s inconceivable we are born

It’s unheard of that we can communicate

One more before it disintegrates into goofiness

It’s quintessentially paradoxical that the soul encompasses the body,

and the body encompasses the soul

Instantly

Netflix.   Watch Movies Instantly.

Hmmm?

I don’t think so. That would mean,  that even,  before you started reading this post,  you would have watched their entire catalog of movies, documentaries,  rock videos,  series, etc.

To the best of my awareness,  that would be impossible,  no?

Immediately perhaps,  but not instantly.

Certainly, you would have a difficult time remembering it all.

Conspiracy Mirrorist

Comes easy,  being a VIW (Veteran of Internal War)

My external suspicions reflect internal flaws to be enlightened.

Eg.,   JFK, 9 11, Waco, Oklahoma, Boston. Etc…

Since we’ll never know the truth of what happened,  I try and utilize the information to ask myself,  “have I done anything like this? “

Regarding, having clandestine meetings, using subterfuge to plot to bring harm to someone, or even going so far as using a lot of deception to change other people’s thinking.

At least this kind of thinking can better utilize my energies into fixing myself instead of wasting it on something that will never have a provable conclusion anyway.

Societal reflections,  highlight how we are doing it to ourselves.

No overt, outside of ourselves, fascist dictator is doing anything to enslave anyone.  We are, and it mirrors our mostly collective following,  like sheep to the tele-screen. Big screen (TV), medium screen (Tablet or Laptop),  small screen (“smart” phone),  tiny screen..(watch phone)

Lest of course a person utilizes,  the same information to better themselves and become self aware of the external and reflect on its internal purpose. There might not actually be one, and that is okay too.

At least the effort to evolve into a more peaceful mindset serves oneself.

Confusing Camera message

Camera’s.

These premises are protected by video surveillance for your protection.

Hahaha

It is manufactured consent, creating an illusion,  that you being watched and recorded somehow, “magically” will “protect” you.

No amount of cameras are going to protect you from anything.

Anti-social card.

Most people get business cards printed up to as a physical triggering device to introduce themselves.

Not me, I’m going to get the following printed up for the reverse effect.

Upon retreating into a catatonic state,  I’ll hand the card that reads this out.

.

I have audio bovine fecal matter deciphering disease .

Symptoms include voluntary deafness, uncontrollable eye rolling and restless leg syndrome.

Non-bio children.

Bill Burr Quote, as a “bit”  from “Let it go”

“That is why I don’t have any kids, I don’t.”

“I think it is irresponsible to be a complete maniac,

not work on yourself,

and then just have a kid,

and then just start downloading all of your fucked up thoughts,

on to their little pristine little hard drive.

You know,

You send ’em off to school,

with your little manifesto’s”

“They’re freaking out all the other kids at school”

“2 + 2, Timmy?

What did you get?”

“Daddy keeps cash in the wall because he doesn’t trust banks”      Bill Burr

The “ills ” that people complain about,  are caused by too many people in the first place.  Yet, it’s the few that do something about it,  not the masses that create it.

“Too many men, too many people,

making too many problems, and not enough love to go around,

can’t you see this is the land of confusion.”

Genesis, from “Land of Confusion”

The best parent is no parent at all.

Works 2 ways,

of the wrong or knowingly bad parent,

not parent,

or the being that has no children at all.

(whew, boy that’s ego typing this, all for not impregnating anyone)

Quite frankly, I can’t even say, I’ve been a good non-biological parent.

Other than, loving their mother, just being here, and not abusing them.

When I first wrote this,

the theory behind the aphorism was to clarify the term non-bio children.

I don’t like the term “step” as it suggests something underfoot.

I noticed (that is what a good observer does).

Watching my non-biological children, raise their children,

I realize I would have done a vile job, as the Bill Burr quote suggests.

A very vile biological parent is not what this world needs.

I met them at the age where their “filters” were working well enough, to filter out most of my goofy and bizarre thoughts.

They do an incredible job, I stand back in awe and amazement in every circumstance they handle and tackle knowing full well there is no way I could even come close to their parenting skills.

Which of course comes from the silent homage,  they bestow upon their mother, by loving them and giving the best guidance they received.

Not having children, was my uselessly effective protest of all of society’s ills, by only myself reasoning .

Is there a point ?

From the podcast “Melody Sheep”

Featuring Bill Hicks and George Carlin

Using the closings of the two best comedians that ever lived.

“There is a point, is there a point to all this?

Lets find a point.”

“Is this real? Or is it just a ride?

The world is like a ride. You think it’s real,

It’s just a ride.

you can change it anytime you want.

It’s only a choice, between fear and love.

The world is like a ride. You think it’s real,

It’s just a ride.

you can change it anytime you want.

It’s only a choice, between fear and love.

Life goes up and down round and round,

it has thrills and chills and is very brightly colored,

and it’s very loud.

Don’t worry, don’t be afraid. It’s just a ride.

We can change it anytime we want.

It’s only a choice between fear and love.”                     Bill Hicks

“Why are we here?

I think we are part of a greater wisdom,

then we will ever understand.

A higher order, call it what you want.

You know what I call it, “The Big Electron”

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

“The Big Electron”

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

It doesn’t punish, it doesn’t reward,

it doesn’t judge at all,

it just is,

and so are we, for a little while.”                         George Carlin

Airline inefficiencies

Seating

Over 100 years of aviation and passenger travel and both the passengers and the airline industry haven’t figured out, that it would be more convenient to “load” the plane at the back first.  Otherwise, it’s just assholes and elbows till the plane takes off.

Safety handrail ?

For your safety,  please hold the handrail.

Sign on moving walkway and escalators.

What if the handrail has some infectious disease on it? How can that possibly be safe?

Especially at an airport,  those germs could spread all over the planet. Or come from some place where you wouldn’t even know where to begin to find the antidote for what you now have.

This is when you realize what an arbitrary word “safety” is.

That and, let’s say you do grab the handrail at the polite printed request, “for your safety”, why then is there not a similar posting for you to let go of the handrail?  Shouldn’t the owners be just as liable for that?

There really shouldn’t be one without the other, right?

If you are following one instruction because you are inspired by the “safety” message, wouldn’t it be just as “safe” to let go at another sign? Otherwise, if you don’t let go, that might be very unsafe,  as you could fall or perhaps even get your fingers torn off, all because now your life is in the hands of whoever is in charge of printing and placing signs.

Secure our borders ?

From what?

No fence is high enough to bar workers desperate enough to feed their families.

From “Cheap” by Ellen Ruppel Shell

Who the fuck are these people kidding, because you know, as soon as things go to shit here, they will be the first ones wanting to leave. Oops all of a sudden,  now they can’t get out of their own borders.

It is ridiculous,  there are no real borders.

However,  it is a useful distraction to the mindless masses who don’t want to face the real issue of too many people on the planet that have to and or desire to labor to feed and house their families.

Of course, another way to stop immigration,  regardless of what country it is, would be to fine the ceo’s, (either monetarily)  (or put the ceo’s out to work in the fields to understand what is expected at those wages and conditions) and shareholders of the companies that hire undocumented workers.  Same goes for the homeowners who pick up migrant workers to do work uninsured and untaxed for their projects on the cheap too.

Kind of like what Carlos Mencia says in his bit “Americans”  Guatemala and El Salvador do not have an immigration problem, (WHY)  because there is no work down there.

There would not be an immigration problem here if ;

People paid for what they say they want.

Paying more for food would be a good start on many levels.

A thought experiment .

Just think if you were paying  $12.00 for a head of lettuce or $ 9.00 for a loaf of bread, you would be a part of the solution by providing high paying jobs for farm workers. Probably  $30 an hour plus benefits.  I’m no economist, but that seems like it would work.  Certainly we’d find out who would still be willing to do that kind of back breaking work at those wages.

Solutions nobody wants to hear. 5fm

Complaining about immigration and wanting cheap stuff and food, is not so distant a cousin to complaining about the price of food with your mouth full.

Plus, there would be lots of unintended benefits besides. People would probably eat less,  or at least healthier.  Being so expensive, people might just create less people to feed,  eliminate the need for genetically modified foods.  Less people,  less traffic,  less crime,  less pollution,  you get the idea.
