Whether it is true or not, my perception is that I have some ability to grasp the concept.
Eg. Everything reincarnates, remember that bowl of spaghetti you had a day or so ago, it’s current reincarnation is ……, well you get the picture.
Probably the two most influential things was the book “Life before life” By Helen Wambach and Shirley MacLaine’s “Out on a Limb”
The premise of “Life Before Life” is that being an entity from the spirit realm, you pick the parents you have or had, in order to prepare you for the lessons you’ll need to get through the rest of your life.
This aspect rang true.
Graced with this awareness, at various stages of my existence, I recognized things I dealt with early on, prepared me for something similar that was currently being dealt with.
Plausibly percepting this might be “real “, would not want in anyway shape or form, such a mega colossal uber and infinite responsibility that it would entail.
Besides, in the unlikely event I ever took the chance and impregnated someone, and if the picking parents theory is true, and I would have been a would be dad, the fetus surely would have committed wombicide anyway. Or would that be feticide?
Knowing I wouldn’t be able to teach him or her shit. That he or she would be an unstable neurotic, not knowing all the current myths, that seem to be only used to create a consuming culture. The same ones that create divisiveness and occasional trampling of earthlings.

People tend to say, having a baby is a miracle. It would be more miraculous for people not to have babies.

It’s no more miraculous than turning a big mac into feces or a headphone speaker turning electricity into sound. Quite frankly, how the acids in your stomach, don’t kill you is miraculous. That and getting concert hall type sounds out of something smaller than an eraser is miraculous.

No one is pointing fingers, I too have used the bullshit story to make a joke as well. Talking about my ancestry, I could only go back so far, because all the rest of the records were lost in “the flood”.
Other than that, it is a theatrical prop to convey a story, however, it was never an actuality, but a dialogue and literary device to keep people fearful, distracted and controlled.
That and water always finds its own lowest level, and although I have no proof, my best understanding is that the water that is around now, is the same amount that was here once the planet came into being, by natural forces. Not by some invisible goofball waving an invisible magic wand, that is all knowing all powerful yet needed to “rest” on the “seventh” day. Hmmm.
Most semi topical posts are written after the fact, as a way not to be of a knee-jerk reaction which seems to be, how most people like to react, without much thought and is usually how they come about in the first place. Which creates an environment of constantly reacting, instead of stopping momentarily to realize how intensely you are being distracted in the first place.

Eliminate the need for police by adhering to the laws. That would either exacerbate the laws problem stated above or shine such a bright light on it, a paradigm would shift.

Evolve into a being of light that can transverse space and other dimensions.
To think, that one “day” after many lifetimes, having outgrown even the need to eat as a direct result of knowing how to convert all solar and atmospheric energy into direct nourishment.
Travel to both regions of inner and outer space and observe the birth of a star. Having a panoramic unencumbered spherical view. Witness it, in all its glory, sights, sounds, smells and other senses we don’t even know exist.
Being immersed in all that beauty, to feel such intense joy that one would weep rivers of liquid diamond tears, having the distinct scent of uncut living breathing roses.
Observe all that can be, from that given point and realize that the notion of a soul mate is your interconnectedness with all that is.
Even longer infinite range goal.
Observe and or experience what occurs when a soul is created. Now that would be interesting.
